Trying to remove a non-existant "Root" Category

Hi,

I'm trying to remove the category present in the picture below to make "Tutte le categorie" (All categories) the default selection. I've pretty much tried everything in my power. Searched the categories from top to bottom, looked for files to modify but didn't find anything.

 

I'm not really a programmer but I know what to avoid to not break anything.

 

What can I do? I can't find that "Radice" category (Root Category) anywhere in my prestashop and it's bugging me the hell out.

anyone? I'm using the theme POS Haxico and the module is "Possearchcategory". At this point I'm not even trying to delete the Category (since I can't) but just hide it.
I already asked for a support ticket but the developer hasn't repled to me yet.
