Start Prestashop on 1.6 or 1.7

Hi there.

 

I will start my shop on Prestashop but i have a question before i do not know if i have to start it on 1.6 or 1.7 

 

Modules and templates on the latest version 1.7 are inexistant, 1.6 have many free modules and templates, so do i have to start on 1.6 with many more modules and templates or on 1.7 and step by step, wait for the updates, modules and templates.

Hi malf!

 

I recommend you to install the latest stable version of PS 1.6.1.12 which works very well. You should wait a while to even think about installing or upgrading to PS 1.7 given that it is very much still missing and have not been tested yet. And as you type so there is very good and stable modules both free and shopping options for this version PS 1.6, but it is you who make your choice, this is just a recommendation from me!
