Solving an error [Allowed to create new files and folders]

Hi All

I tried installing PS on a clients host today, easily.co.uk, and during the compatability test the line "Allowed to create new files and folders" was highlighted in red.
After some searching through the forum I found a thread that said if you you change the configurationtest file to show True instead of False for that test it will work.
OK so i tried that and yes the installation worked and the store is up and running, i've tested file generation by creating a .htaccess file from the admin area and also a backup file and that works as well.
I haven't had a chance to add products but some playing about suggested that works as well.

So my question is how do I know that its all ok, I don't want to find out a week or two down the road that the error was real and is causing a problem. Everything seems to work fine, has the configtest provided a false negative afterall if I can create the .htaccess file and the backup file surely I can create new files and folders?
