danbanswer
I'm using Prestashop 1.6.1.7. I've set up Multistore with more than one shop. Probably doesn't matter, but I have 3 shops in one group.Choose one of the stores (in the top left shop drop down).Go to Catalog | CategoriesClick a green check mark to stop displaying a category (or edit the category and change "Displayed" to "NO"The category is no longer displayed in ANY of the shops. More info:It doesn't matter which shop is currently picked.Other settings work properly, for example changing the category description or order only changed it for the current shop. This also happens when the change is made by an employee of the shop, so one shop can mess up the other shops. I created an issue report (http://forge.prestashop.com/browse/PSCSX-8915). Prestashop confirmed the bug, but said they can't fix it in a patch version because it requires a database change. Does anyone have an idea for a workaround? Some way I can prevent one shop from messing up other shops, but still allow the shops to display different categories? TIA
