lbcolor.biz
I installed 1.6.1.11. It takes a long time but the log in page comes up and I enter the log in and password that I gave it during install. Then it just sits there until I get an error message about the connection timing out. I have tried Chrome, IE 11, and Firefox with the same results. (IE9 it just sits there with the busy icon in the tab and then resets for the password to be entered again). "The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading." is the wording it gave in Firefox. Chrome says the page isn't working and didn't send any data (ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE) I even tried changing the folder permissions back to 777 to see if that was what the admin needed. All files are set to 644 if one of them is the culprit. Some Help would be appreciated. This is my first time trying to work with Prestashop, this is the third try and I installed using a different named folder (and different SQL database) because I was unable to delete all the folders and files in the original one after trying 2 installs in it. I ran various searches through the forums but didn't find the exact same problem but maybe I'm not wording the search just right. Thanking you in advance for any assistance. lbcolor.biz
I thought i'd already tried that but did it again in Firefox to be sure, it times out again. "The connection to the server was reset" It's happening during the redirect: index.php?controller=AdminLogin&token=682e2e72bec9023771f86ca8859ad3d9&redirect=AdminDashboard And a CTRL+F5 takes it back to the login screen Does it matter whether the program is in HTTP or HTTPS folder? lbcolor.biz
During the install it said that mCrypt wasn't available but it was listed as optional. Could this be the culprit? Since I haven't been able to get anywhere with this program I decided to give OpenCart a try but OpenCart doesn't install at all without mCrypt. I would really prefer to use PrestaShop so any assistance would be appreciated. Thank you.
lbcolor.biz
I tried installing it in the HTTPSDOCS folder but then trying to do an install doesn't find the folder to install it in case that mattered whether it was in the https side. I also tried to log into the Admin from another site in case it was the connection thta was causing the time out error but get the same thing.
