ballashop
Oh thanks a lot, can I do the same with products that already? or the bundle must be created and then associate exist products?
jetway
You need to create the products upfront. Then Click on New Product, change the type to pack, give it a name and add the products that are included in the bundle.
ballashop
ok thanks, so it is possible create a bundle just if the products already exist. there is a system to alert the individual products there this bundle? i mean if a customer wants to buy only one of these products, presta can alert that there is a bundle of that product? I hope it is clear thanks
ballashop
I really don't understand the quantity tab! Decrease only package. Decrease only in packaging products. Decrease both. Default: Decrease only package. do you know? thanks a lot
jetway
As far as i am aware there is no triggering system in place that does that for you, at least not in presta core code. The code could be adjusted accordingly or there might be a module. What i did is i renamed the accessories Module to "similar or products you might like" and added bundles or similar products so the customer could see. I know there are modules out there but i did not want to buy anything ;-) Edited April 4, 2017 by jetway (see edit history)
jetway
Well when you create a package you can set the available quantity. This quantity does not have to match the quantity of the products included. Example: Package 1 includes Item 1, 2, 3, 4. You have 500 Items of each in stock but you only want to sell 100 of each in a bundle. So you can set the Bundle to 100. Now when somebody buys 1 package what should prestashop do? - Decrease the package by 1 leaving it at 99 but leave the quantity of the items at 500 which is kinda weird. - Decrease both meaning the package is set to 99 and the items to 499. - Only Decrease the items to 499 and leave the package at 100 I really don't understand the quantity tab! Decrease only package. Decrease only in packaging products. Decrease both. Default: Decrease only package. do you know? thanks a lot Edited April 4, 2017 by jetway (see edit history)
