Google Shows an hidden prestashop category seo problem

Hi,

i hope that is the right place to put this question.

I was in my webmaster tools and i get lots of error 404 from an hidden category.

Is it possible to say to google to don't index my hidden category?

And there's another troubles, lot's of 404 from TAGS of smart blog module... TAGS???

 

I think that is super easy the solution, but i can't find it.

 

I'm gonna enclose a pic of it

Hi,

Google Search Console has service to remove urls from indexing, so that they will not shown in search result.

404 is normal when a previously active category is set to disabled. Google still trys to fetch the category unless you send a removal request.

Moreover the smartblog (and any other mechanism -- module or not -- that adds new url schemas) uses probably friendly urls. Check on the php files of the module (main and the front controller of the tags) for any misconfiguration.
