how to show subcategories on prestashop 1.7

Hi,

I'm using prestashop 1.7 with a custom theme buyed on the market, there's a way to show subcategories when i click on some categories? At the moment it show only the products inside the category and not the subcategories like the previous version of prestashop.

Can someone help me please? Thanks

Hello @nadie,

I tried those two guides but : 

- The first one do not handle missing category picture.

- The second use an incorrect test to check the picture existence "{if $subcategory.id_image}" and provide an incorrect link for default picture "{$img_cat_dir}{$lang_iso}-default-category_default.jpg".

What is the correct URL for default category pictures in Prestashop 1.7 ?

Is it possible to explain how to install this module?

I have try to install it using module manager from BO and it said something wrong...
