Tools::displayError ¿Is secure force error 500?

Hi,

 

I've the following issue:
 

I'm using PrestaShop with external cache system.
 

When database connection fails (it's not usual but sometimes happens) PrestaShop return "Link to database cannot be established: SQLSTATE xxx" with http 200 response code and it gets cached. 

 

I check code and the error is sending using Tools::displayError function.

 

Someone knows if its secure forcing 500 response code inside displayError function without triggering any malfunction.
