Creation ecommerce site like gilt.com

Hi to everybody!
This is my first post on the board.
I am developing an ecommerce site for a client and as a reference I was given this website:
http://www.gilt.com/sale/home
Of course apart from the header that is simple to implement (the horizontal menu using a standard form lavalamp menu, and the rest is already the default on Prestashop) I have a few reservations about other things:

- The first image (top rectangle) can be obtained easily via the editor's home or a module for slideshows, right? Or there is a simple module to do something?
- The "Send Invite" exist on Prestashop? You can implement as you see on gilt.com (image and button)?
- Then, once opened such a category of products, you can do so to view all products in that category on a single page? So if I have 50 products displays them all together, without needing to go to page 2, 3 etc..
- Finally, there is a template developed on a single column, practically on the same site layout gilt.com?

I hope I have not done too many questions on a topic.
Where I had broken some rule of bon-ton, I apologize and I will not do it again, promise!

[EDIT] I have attached some screenshots to better illustrate what I am asked to do. The fact that gilt.com is closed is not important, because the site that I go I realize it will not, but it will be a normal ecommerce.
