jrgrafisk Posted March 10, 2017 Share Posted March 10, 2017 Hi there I'm looking to solve a problem for my company.We have about 150 sales reps, who generally service a fixed set of customers.Today these sales reps, send an email with their orders, to back office, who then places the order in our ERP.The problem is:The sales reps, doesn't know exactly what we have in stock, or the exact attributes of these items.There's too much room for error, creating a lot of extra work for back office. Ideally our sales reps would be able to place an order, for his customer, through our prestashop.To achieve this, we would have to be able to link customer profiles, so that one customer profile can add an order for another, without exchanging login data.To clarify:Sales rep visits customer.Customer says he wants a forklift (thats what we sell).Sales rep and customer finds a suitable truck.Sales rep places the order, with invoice address and delivery address of the customer.The item is sold by the sales rep, but to the customer, and not to the user logged in.This would melt the customer platform and sales rep platform into one, creating better experience for customer and sales rep - and a smoother process for back office...
