macandcheese
I have some search issues. On my site (not live yet but i put in my IP in header.php so i could view it), i have some big problems. I have one product, for instance, called "Formula 420 Glass Cleaner" (haha ), and when you search for formula, or glass, or cleaner, it comes up. but when you search "420", nothing shows up. is that too short a search term? if so, it should say enter a larger word instead of just no results. Also, why can't you search for keywords/tags. What's the point behind having the tags cloud then?First shop install and i like the system, few bugs will hopefully get sorted out in 1.1, and the theme i'm editing is pretty easy, i'm glad it's mostly .css (HOWEVER, the idea of one php instead of those rediculous .tpl seems better but whatever i'm used to e107)
zenrider420
Hey there macandcheese! There have been a few discussions regarding this... It is a limitation of Prestashop in its current form... I think they are working on a fix for it...Check out the discussions here and here.Hopefully we'll see it fixed in 1.1, because a lot of my manufactures names are three letter initials, and it is lame when you search for the name of a manufacture, and nothing comes up... I changed the search message to read that you must search for more then three characters and this works until they fix it. I hope this helps.
