Naldinho
I've switched my store to maintenance mode and yet the store is still accessible. People are still able to register accounts.
bellini13
provide more information about your store. what version of prestashop what theme are you using? default bootstrap or a custom one? do you have any custom modules installed? Is this is a new store? Have you performed an upgrade recently?
Naldinho
Thanks for responding but I figured it out. The issue is with how I have my server is configured. Pressing add my IP to the allowed list was actually adding the server IP.
Jorge_FLy
Hey, how do you solve it? I have the same problem...
Naldinho
To determine if it is the same issue place the store into maintenance mode with no IPs white-listed. This should put you in maintenance mode. Then press add IP to the white list. Compare the IP for your computer to the IP added -- they should not match. If that is the case then you have the same issue. It is because of the way your server is setup -- most likely because you're using ngnix as a proxy so your server IP and not your computer IP is getting added. I fixed it by editing the core files to use the real IP but after doing that I realized it is more work then was needed -- the much simpler solution would be to just manually enter your computer IP. Problem solved. The add to white list button will remain broken but editing core files just to fix a button when you can manually add the IP instead isn't worth it.
