Mike333
We have a Prestashop webshop in a shared hosting that every now and then and randomly generates 508 errors of exceeded resources and consequently a blank screen with the message "502 Bad Gateway" is publicly displayed. The problem is that it does not always happen in the same page and it is random so we do not know if it is due to an excess of visits or a problem with some module. The page can work correctly for a month and suddenly in one day it generates two downfalls. What we do see is that there are many registered visits of m.facebook and l.facebook given that our client make campaigns on Facebook (90% of Links from an external page according to our server stats) The most visited urls are /module/mailalerts/actions and a product that is on sale but is out of stock (and therefore uses the mailalerts module) Moreover, we have other webshops that use the same theme and are in a shared hosting but do not report this same problem. We have configured the performance in "Never recompile template files", Cache Type "File System", Clear Cache "Never Clean Cache Files" Our provider tells us that it is best to switch to a dedicated server to have more resources available. On the other hand if this was a programming problem we do not understand why this randomness occurs. Prestashop Version 1.6.1.4 Server info Linux #1 SMP Sun Jan 29 06:36:45 EST 2017 x86_64 Apache Server version PHP Version 5.6.30 Memory limit - 128M Maximum Execution Time - 30 Email settings E-mail sending mode - Uses the PHP () e-mail function Does anybody have the same problem? If so, how do you solve it? Thanks in advance
