Hi Guys,

 

I have noticed that although deleting modules from Back Office, they aren't actually being deleted from the host server files.   Is that suppose to happen?

Assume you are using PresatShop 1.6x or lower.

usually if you delete a module it should be uninstalled and also deleted from the server.

If the module folder is not deleted, then there must be some reasons such as some error occurred during uninstall and delete.

also it could be file/folder permission issue, check if there file/folder permission is the same as other modules.

 

 

For PrestaShop 1.7x - when you uninstall a module, there is an option (checkbox) for you to choose if you want to delete the module or not.
