Xpert-Idea
go to admin menu localization to language page and modify the full language English to french and french to English ( also change the language iso code fr to en and en to fr ). Then check may be it will be done which do you want.
FreeDam.fr
In fact, the problem was that at some stage the translation file en.php was full of french translations. When I transfered my module to the english website, the french translations showed up. The thing is fr.php or en.php are not synchronised with what you enter in Localization/Translations, Anyone's got an explanation ? How to trigger a synchronisation ? Xpert-Idea
There it has no by default way to transfer translation text en to fr. You should rename the file en.php to fr.php and fr.php to en.php . I think its the way.
FreeDam.fr
my only mistake was that I saved my translations under : Installed modules tranlations /default-bootstrap/French instead of : Installed modules tranlations /Core(no theme selected)/French
