fiqar
Pease to all, I have several questions about the upload of products lists in CSV format . Platform: Prestashop 1.7 The questions is : I own two files at this moment 1= (products informations) , 2= (products images) . - Do I have to upload booth files or no and have to upload the only products information file and no need for the images file ? - In case uploading only (nr 1) do then have to add images one by one to the products ? - And after to known about uploading CSV file/files, do have to empty all products I have already uploaded one by one ? or it's possible to upload products without delete uploaded products ? It's important to know before stepping any step to avoid any fault . Thanks to all and sorry if there any mistake in the language or in explanations . Best regards Saif Edited February 27, 2017 by fiqar (see edit history)
rocky
You only need to upload a single CSV file for each language with all your product information and comma-separated URLs to the product images in the "Image URL" column. These URLs can be to an external website or you can upload your images somewhere on your website using an FTP client and then enter URLs to those images to link all the images to products in one go. If you've previously added products, you can specify the product IDs in the CSV file to modify the product without needing to delete it. If no product IDs are specified in your CSV file, new products will be created.
