image slider for your homepage error prestashop 1.6

I have a problem with my image slider for homepage.

 

Everytime I upload my own picture I, it shows for a splitsecond on the homepage and then it just gets black + my new products dissapear.

 

So first i thought it might be that my picture is to big so  i reset the module and i checked if it worked with the sample pictures. and yes it works perfectly and my new products show.
So I checked the excact size of the prestashop sample pictures and made my picture fit into this size.
Then I replaced the sample picture with mine (so i didn't even made a new slide) and again it turns black and my new products dissapear...... even though its excact the same size as the prestashop samples that work!!!

 

Anyone has an idea what is wrong?
