server media with sub domain makes my website like a sitemap

Hi ,

i just tried to use server media on performance, i created my sub domain and i put it, but when i'm going to performance section and i add it the result is like the image enclosed, in few words it looks like a site map... how comes?

Some ideas?

It would seem your subdomain isn't working. You can try entering subdomain URLs directly into your browser to see if they work that way.

i think you're right, but it's the first time that i'm doing this,

so i'm gonna say to you how i did.

 

1. created subdomain on my hosting ( on /public_html )
2. i written on performace the subdomain
3. That's it

Have i to copy something?

Have i to put it on /public_html/subdomain    ----- maybe?

I've never done it myself, but I guess you could put the CSS, JavaScript and images inside your subdomain directory using the same path, though you'll have two copies of the files. It might be better to set up a redirect in your cPanel to redirect the subdomain to the main domain. Hopefully, someone with more knowledge on the topic can provide a detailed guide.
