anth.payne
I have created a number of customer groups, but i can seem to restrict what product categories they have access to - this only works when i remove access from 'Default' group.I need the 'Default' group to beable to see ALL products/categories. But when a user logs in, they then see less categories applicable to them.I have tried this on 1.3.0.1 and 1.3.1Thanks, Anthony

anth.payne
Unfortunately not - it does not allow you to remove a user from Default. I have tried manually within MySQL - but this disables all Product categories.
Stefand
Thank you for trying that, weird... the function to disable or enable categories for groups is active, but actually it willn't work.
taoreflex
Its called Catch-22. If you haven't read the book (strangely enough titled Catch-22), you should. It explains many of life's little frustrations and some of its larger ones too.
Gabor@
should this be added to bugtracker?
rocky
I think it may have been reported before, but I can't find the bug report. I suppose it can't hurt to post it again.
