images in "new products" column don't show

Hi all,

 

I hope someone can help me...
We upgraded from prestashop 1.4 to 1.6 and all the images show, everywhere except in the column with new products. I don't understand what is wrong because everywhere else all the pictures show. Has anyone an idea what is wrong?

oh yes i forgot, when I make a new product in the new version, I also have the same problem, so it's not only with the old products..

Rightclick the image and look which extension it has. That is the extension behind the image number. For example -home_default.jpg.

 

From 1.4 to 1.5 Prestashop has changed its image names. instead of 22-home.jpg you will now encounter 22-home_default.jpg.

 

It looks like your new products module uses another extension than the rest of your system. And that the extension it uses not is supported.

 

So you can do two things:

 - you can look in your image settings which formats are generated and then add the missing format.

 - you can edit the new products module so that it uses an existing format.

 

But first you need to look which formats you have.
