twinwolf
Installing PrestaShop for the first time. No errors along the way. I get to the "Test Your Database" button and clicking it does nothing. I get no response, no error message, nothing. I am stuck on that page. I have created the database and confirmed it with PHP MyAdmin. Any advice or ideas?

twinwolf
I currently have PrestaShop version 1.7.0.5. I tried this same installation with PrestaShop version 1.6 and had the same issue. I am unable to get any response from the Test Your Database page.. Current configuration is as follows: Scientific Linux release 6.8 (Carbon)kernel 2.6.32-042stab120.11MySQL Ver 14.14 Distrib 5.1.73, for redhat-linux-gnu (x86_64) PHP Version 5.5.34 PHP.ini is visible at http://shop.biggestlittlekitchenstore.com/phpinfo.phpPHP using suPHPAll files owned by site admin user----------------------------------------------from http.conf----------------AddHandler cgi-wrapper .cgiAddHandler cgi-wrapper .plAddHandler server-parsed .shtmlAddType text/html .shtmlsuPHP_Engine onsuPHP_ConfigPath /home/sites/shop.biggestlittlekitchenstore.comsuPHP_AddHandler x-httpd-suphpAddHandler x-httpd-suphp .php-------------------------------------------Options Indexes FollowSymLinksAllowOverride NoneOrder allow, denyAllow from all -----------------------------------------I have complete access to the server and to this particular VPS. The server logs show no errors. Everything proceeds as expected until reaching the "Check Database" page. Clicking the "Test Your Database" button does not do anything - no errors appear nor any sign that clicking the link has caused any action. The database is setup and can be reached via PHP MyAdmin. I need assistance on how to troubleshoot this further or a known solution.
