if you want hide the cart button from backoffice, i've finished the hacks for that (backup its necessary!!):

Hi everyone,

I installed the hack of Hans on my website Range-Grenier.fr, and it successfully worked.

I can now enable or disable the displaying of the "add cart" option on the product i want.

I think this kind of functionality should be added to the next release of prestashop (if it hasn't done been yet ...)
It would be interesting to have two options :
show cart on/off
show price on/off

i don't use anymore this trick, so i don't know for your ps 1.2 version.
