Manage stock on Supplier reference

Hi everyone

Im starting a car part styling shop which has alot of products, and alot of the products are the same but for different cars. (Exampel given below)

 

I want to manage my stocks on the warehouse by supplier reference instead of the item reference. 

 

How can I achieve this? 

 

E.g. of same product but different car:

License plate light -

1 supplier reference

7 different products

 

Fits for:

VW Passat 3BG

VW Tiguan 5N

Vw Touareg 7L

Porsche Cayenne 

VW Golf 4

VW Bora

Audi TT

 

Which means I have the same fysically product - but the frontend user can see them 7 times depending on which car they have choosen in the menu,

But if I sell one product - I need to adjust the item stock on all 7 products.

That's rather hard to achieve. I suggest organizing the products in a different way, where supplier is a category and then have one product assigned to many categories.
