Missing Paypal button in last step of your order [Solved]

Hello

 

I am trying to fix on the last step of ordering a missing Logo of Paypal

 

at the moment it just shows text and i would like to show the small credit card and paypal logo

 

Enclosed is a JPG of what it looks like now..

 

I am using Leotheme if thats of some use to know

I've been managing with an earlier version of paypal for this very reason. I could never find the solution. Having upgrading from 1.2.1.10 to 1.6.1.11 this evening my Paypal was automatically upgraded again along with this dreaded issue. So I searched again and this time found a workaround.

i have tried many places to upload on filezilla ---

any chance you can explain where to upload to or grab a screen shot would be great

Under the English translation of the checkout page the path was the following:

 

views/ims/default_logos/default_horizontal.png

 

"modules/paypal" folders lack in the string, and for this reason under the English checkout page only a question mark was displayed instead of the PayPal logo.

 

To avoid touching the code, I've created views/ims/default_logos/default_horizontal.png under public_htm and the PayPal logo has appeared in the English checkout page.

Using Filezilla, log in and navigate to your root folder, something like /httpdocs/

 

create the /views directory and subdirectory and upload your image. So you end up like this:

 

/httpdocs/views/img/default_logos/default_horizontal.png

 

Note that the original post has a typo. it has /ims/ which should of course be /img/

all sorted out now

and i even managed to change the mobile and tablet version of the Logo using a similar way as described

as it was in a different folder the mobile logo...

now all versions have the same paypal and credit card photo
