There is no carrier available that will deliver to this address!

Recommended Posts

Ok, I've read through the previous threads on this and everyone else seemed to not have Zone's setup or the pricing done correct. I have both.

Delivery comes up in checkout if I'm delivering to Ireland [new zone I setup] . However Europe does not work at all for some reason. Setting the country as france I get:

There is no carrier available that will deliver to this address!

UK [new zone created works] Ireland [new zone created wrorks]

France is in the Europe Zone by default.

I'm calculating shipping based on weight, I have all my weight ranges inserted.

I have two carriers, all zones are ticked on both of them.

Fees by carrier, geographical zone, and ranges I have completely filled out. Nothing is missing...

Anyone have any idea what the problem could be? Some screenshots for those of you who won't believe the above.

Help seriously appreciated!

So why is Europe broke by default?

I think they let too many countries into the union too quickly, and the spending just goes up.

You'll have to ask the greek, they are certainly doing more than their fair share in this mess....

I think you got lucky Seanmc because I am having major problems with shipping.

I have four shipping set up. Redorded Delivery and Special Delivery for the UK and International Airmail and Signed for International Airmail but only the UK options work. When someone from Europe tries to order they get the infamouns There is no carrier available that will deliver to this address! message.

I have checked all of the options and they are all set up correctly but it just won't work. I have even moved countries into the UK zone and they still don't work which is absurd. I simply cannot think of any reason why I am having this problem and it seems nobody else does either.

I have checked every setting I can think of and they all look OK so if anyone has any idea please help me.

I have a permenant headache from trying to sort out shipping......

Having said that one tihng I did discover is, if you are not signed in as a customer when you test the shipping, if you are using a 1 page checkout, when you scroll down to check shipping it says none available..... I think thats because it doesnt know where you are trying to ship to.... but I could be wrong, it certainly wouldnt be the first time lol

Maybe I should buy a fast bike and deliver the stuff myself.......... for a fixed fee and a cup of coffee
