jkiel
Looking to build a new site using PrestaShop and it looks like we'll need Advanced Stock Management (ASM). (see other topic for why) The problem is that PrestaShop 1.7 doesn't have ASM, and 1.6 support is ending in 2018. I certainly don't want to invest a huge amount of resource into building a relatively large site (over 500k distinct SKUs from three warehouses) on a deprecated platform, PrestaShop 1.6, that will need substantial work to upgrade to 1.7 in a relatively short amount of time. Any thoughts on sticking with PrestaShop 1.6? Releasing an incomplete product (1.7) while deprecating the fully featured one (1.6) seems like a huge misstep for PrestaShop. What am I missing here? Has PrestaShop extended the support window for 1.6 in light of this? Edited January 20, 2017 by jkiel (see edit history)
