nickgorrell
I am evaluating Magento and am finding it very confusing so have started looking elsewhereI am trying to install two very simple shops on one site under different subdomains. I want two very separate admin setups so that they are essentially two discrete shops on the same site accessed via the subdomain URLsPlease can any one advise whether prestashop might allow me to do this? Thanks, Nick
Paul C
You can install as many stores as you have capacity on your web server in subdomains. All you need to do is create a different database for each store, and install the code under each subdomain. This is different to the multiple store functionality in Magento, where you actually have ONE admin area for all the stores. All you're doing id treating each subdomain as a separate PrestaShop install.Paul

nickgorrell
This looks good for what I am trying to achieve, just working through setting up some simple catalogue items - do you know how to load an image (or images) against a product. Also what are the recommended image sizes for the various parts of the system? Thanks
sidro
or you can copy the original content of your shop to the subdomain, and you have 2 or more same shops on diferent domains. this works for me on aprox. 15 domains.only thing is that you must copy img folder (skip already there images) of the original shop each time you modify a product image or add a new one.
