No products in newly created categories

Hi,

 

I have recently a following problem:

 

I create a new category and assign few products to it, then when I want to find these products in the admin panel by the cattegory I get no results. The same thing if I create xml with the products  from new category - it's empty.

 

I use presta 1.6.1.10

 

What can be a problem, and how to solve it?

if you use multistore environment please switch settings from "all shops" to selected shop and try to associate products with categories

(applicable only if you're on multistore)
