borderbound
I just want to add an about us page, or more info pages etc - obviousy i can create the links and link to an off shop page completely but i'd like it to still be in prestashop - so still have the box modules and navigation - footer header etc, just with static content that's not for purchasing - any ideas? tomerg3
That's what the CMS pages are for.
kingsinnersoul
This is exactly my question too. CMS pages are cool, but how do I exclude them from certain modules? the php pages I know how: Modules>>Positions>>Exceptions. But how what to put in the exceptions section for the CMS?I know I can add cms.php to the exceptions, but can I add single cms pages? Like cms.php?id_cms=3 ????
rocky
You'll need to modify code to do that. See my post here.

webby
Any ideas on this, using CMS pages for additional forms?
kingsinnersoul
create your code (in dreamweaver for example), copy it to the cms page (you have the option to edit the page in html format) and then add the css to global.cssi see no reason why this shouldn't work. good luck
vedran117
this could be done by using info block but i'm having trouble moving an info block to the top of the page section in header. My plan is to convert links in info block to inline and use an info block as a navigation for static pages that can be edited through CMS.Problem is when i move an info block to the top of the page it doesn't show. When i move it in left or right then it is shown. How can i show it in the top of the page next to the logo.jpg?
kingsinnersoul
you have to add the header hook in that module i think. i did it somehow a while ago and changed it. also try to use this link to find horizontal menu bar modules that can be added to the store, instead of modifying the info blockhttp://prestaportal.com/thread-582.htmlin that thread search for the modules under navigation bar sectionhere you will find more nice modules that you might find usefulhttp://www.marghoobsuleman.com/prestashop-modules/free-prestashop-modulesplus there are already premade free templates for prestshop with horizontal menu module as a built in module.
