On two Prestashops i get the same bug. 

Version is: 1.6.1.4. 

 

Here's how i get the bug: 

 

Open your browser developer Console (i use Chrome).

Go to: Catalogue > Products. 

Choose a product that has "Combinations". 

Click on "Combinations". 

Now watch your dev-console. It says: "Synchronous XMLHttpRequest on the main thread is deprecated because of its detrimental effects to the end user's experience. For more help, check https://xhr.spec.whatwg.org/."

 

Now edit one of your Combinations. First time it might work fine. But try again. Now you will notice that nothing gets updated. 

I also find it a bit scary to have that jquery-warning all the time.

upgrade your store to a newer version.  Chrome made a change in a recent version which broke many things

Update! 

As recommended by @bellini13 i ran the update. It ran without trouble and evertything is now working as it should. No more Console-errors.
