rocky
I think upgrading instead of doing a clean install is the easiest way to copy over data. You could export the data from PrestaShop v1.2.5 and import it into PrestaShop v1.3, but that might cause problems. If you've decided to do a clean install instead of an upgrade, the safest way is probably to use the CSV import tool to import your products and categories. marty69
I suggest you upgrade 1.2.5 to 1.3.1 as there is some modifications in the database. If you still prefer having a fresh install you should follow one on the ways :- CSV export from 1.2 and CSV import to 1.3- make a local migration from 1.2 to 1.3 to have your database modified as needed, then just replace tables related to your products (i think ps_attributes, ps_categories and ps_products) in your fresh install. How would one go about doing a .csv export?
