Friendly URLs not loading the target page

Hello,
I enabled frieldy url module in prestashop. But when i tried to go click on the category link :

http://localhost/salaverde/2-bowls

The error says :

The requested URL /salaverde/2-bowls was not found on this server.

Please help ..,.

If you're using Windows as your hosting operating system it will not work, Windows platform, even with URL Rewrite installed within the IIS 7/7.5 is not compatible with PrestaShop Advanced Friendly URLs yet!
