OluFunke
We are two guys who wants to start a website like "grailed.com" but for Denmark. Where people can trade their clothes(Mainly medium to highend stuff), but we don't know where to start. 1) Webhosting and domain.Where and how? I know of shopify and those who utilize Wordpress. Shopify is like shops, for people who already has the items as far as i know Wordpress is for like... blogs... we want a website like (grailed.com, dba.dk, craigslist.com) but for clothing. where people submit their clothes and resell them. They can then pay a small fee for making the clothes appear first on the site before the non payers, also ads. 2) Scratch or wordpress/shopify How do we build it? We want the most easy, but also most viable solution. We both know HTML, CSS and i know PHP, Ruby/Ruby on rails and Javascript. So we can built it, or some of it if necessary, but we want the fastest and easiest solution.
Guest
If using prestashop try this company who have multi-seller modules http://agileservex.com/ Alternatively try probid: https://www.phpprobid.com/
OluFunke
What would be most viable?
Guest
Only you can decide that. Do lots of research and testing to see which option has the best features for you
OluFunke
I should note that our vision is: A seller, who wants to sell their designer hoodie(etc.) puts in an ad. Other people who look at the ad can comment on it if the person is interested. The seller can buy, for a small fee, a boost in his ad that makes it go to the front page first(alot like the danish site.dba)
OluFunke
The buying between products is not happening in our website, only the communication. They either meet up or figure it out in the dm a send it and pay privately
