Shipping surcharge per product combination?

Hey guys,

 

As I'm trying to set up new product options, I got stuck with an issue. So far the only product option was size, and all with available options the products were going out with flat rate shipping.

 

Now things got a bit more difficult. I have three size options and two material options, which results in six combinations, each with different pricing. As for shipping however, I'll need to add a surcharge or specify exact shipping fees.

 

Structure is like this:

 

Product Combination 1:  Size A + Material X

Product Combination 2:  Size B + Material X

Product Combination 3:  Size C + Material X

 

Product Combination 4:  Size A + Material Y

Product Combination 5:  Size B + Material Y

Product Combination 6:  Size C + Material Y

 

- For all size options of Material X, I can use flat rate.

- For all size options of Material Y however, I need to specify a surcharge specific to that product (each different).

 

So far I couldn't find a solution for this. I was trying the BO and Prestashop StoreManager as well, but no joy....

Any ideas?

This is not possible with default Prestashop. The closest you can get is to create a product for each material and add the shipping surcharge in the shipping tab for the product with combinations of material Y.
