Edit Product: Can I hide fields, that I do not use ?

I consider switching from Opencart after 5 years with Opencart. I have spent $200 buying extensions for Opencart to suit my needs. One extension hides/shows Menu Fields. Another extension hides/shows Product fields like EAN, UPC barcode etc. I searched the Marketplace but could not find anything like this. Anybody knows ?

prestashop by default does not have this kind of feature

also i dont know any module that can do this.

 

in what version of prestashop you're interested?

i will check it for possibilities, maybe it will be possible to achieve it with minor modification of css files only.

I just installed 1.6.1.10 a few hours ago. I am pretty sure, that you can NOT edit css files and achieve it. 

I only know about Opencart, but in Opencart you would minimum edit template file • .tpl file.

 

I have a very smart extension that does this. In many ways Prestashop is better than Opencart, but

if I cannot get the functions, that I have in Opencart, I probably stay with Opencart.

 

there must be many people who are interested in the same thing as I am to save time !!!
