Takes to long to modify products ? is this a bug or what can I do

 

I have a pretty fast computer, and using PS1.7.0.3

 

Also there are nearly 1000 products.

 

I have to change every single one of the products categories.

 

It is taking a minute for PS to save the change.  This is far to long.

 

Is it a bug or is there anything I can do.

 

Ok into Phpmyadmin, modify default category to the correct id nos in database table ps_product_shop and for some reason also in ps_product

 

It is changed in the database but if you go into the product page it still has picked up the default category id = 2 that being 'home' as well as the new category. The only was is to untick 'home' and do a save in the product page, and wait another minute

 

There must be another database field that I must modify. Anybody any ideas??
