"Moving" addons/themes from temporary domain to real domain?

Hi everybody,

 

I'm new to prestashop. We currently operating a Jimdo store. Jimdo doesn't give you access to your webspace/domain via ftp. Only when we cancel our Jimdo contract will we actually be able to have "access" to our domain.

 

To be able to develop our prestashop store while we're still operating our Jimdo store we rented webspace with a temporary domain.

 

Now we bought our theme and our first addons and when trying to install it were asked for a domain.

 

My question: Can we here use our temporary url and later move our installation including themes and addons to our "real" url without problems?

I would suggest that you enter the final URL when asked.  You are allowed to use modules/themes on test stores/domains, and it will be difficult to change that URL later.
