lonnie_pt
Hi! Since the release of 1.7, I noticed that the back office theme changes in, for instance, the dashboard and the product page. The header changes, the icons change, and the css file that is being used changes also in these pages: two themes are being used: the default and the new theme, depending on the page. Is this also happening to you? I am trying to override some styles, but I can't seem to override them when the pages are using the new-theme files. What can I do? And how do you get the whole back office to use just one theme? Thanks
rocky
This is normal behaviour. PrestaShop is currently being transitioned to using Symfony. So far, only the Modules and Products pages have been updated to use Symfony and other pages are still using the old system. PrestaShop has attempted to style the two systems similarly, but if you look closely, you can see differences. Once all pages in PrestaShop have been upgraded to use Symfony, this will no longer be a problem. You can continue to use PrestaShop v1.6 if you want the entire Back Office to use the same theme. It will continue to be supported for a long time.
