Hi everyone,

 

I'm need to develop a travel agency store. And i want to know if prestashop it's capable to do everything i need.

 

Like a regular travel agency i need to have:

 

- Trips;

- Tours;

- Discounts;

- Promotions;

- Search with departure and arrive dates, destination, etc.

- Reserve with number of persons and childs.

- Regular payment methods like, deposit, visa, paypal.

- I'm not sure if i will need to control stock (maybe in some promotions packs).

PrestaShop can do all the things that any e-commerce website does.

 

1) What is Trip? You can set it as a product.

2) What is Tour? You can set it as a product.

3) You can set discount.

4) What is a promotion? You might need to buy modules depending on what you want to achieve.

5) I want to say NO. It depends on how do you structure your data/descriptions, but most likely you will need custom build search.

6) I want to say NO. Somebody in the forum already discussed the possible solution for this question. You should try to find what they decided to do. There are ways how to do it, but most likely you will need custom development.

7) Not in the standard package. There modules in addonds marketplace that can do that.

8) I am not sure If you want good answers you need to provide good questions.

I do not think PrestaShop default features will meet all your requirements.

You may need some 3rd party modules to implement all your requirements.
