Kaihaku Posted June 9, 2010 Share Posted June 9, 2010 I have little hands-on experience with PrestaShop at the moment but I believe that the answer to your query is yes.If you check the Catalog Features the last one is Downloadable products (MP3, PDF...), that should include zip files. This can be further verified by the fact that PrestaStore is presumable PrestaShop powered and offers downloadable product files. Kaihaku Posted June 10, 2010 Share Posted June 10, 2010 That would be a great addition to the Showcase. PrestaShop supports virtual products. You can upload the e-book when you enter the product details, set number of days to download etc. The user will be able to download the e-books after the payment is received. Searching through the forum, I found some mention of ebook stores which further indicate that downloadable products work. I can't think of any reason why a zip file wouldn't work but just to be sure I'll try a zip file on our trial store today when I get into work. Best of luck! Files are uploaded.Finally I created a user with my email ID and tried a test download. Everything goes Okay… But when I download the file; it shows 0 byte! Strange behave! I tried with several file types like .pdf and .zip . But the results are same.Than I test it on my localhost but it works fine.Than I installed another prestashop on another folder for test purpose on my web server but when I download the file; it shows 0 byte!Final Issue: It works fine on my localhost on my PC but do not work on my host server!You can test with the free product here http://aseiem.com/eshop/product.php?id_product=33Does any one HELP me! I need you help. Please. Please. Please.when I download the file from my localhost; The file download correctly.But when I download the file from web server; The file download with 0 byte!
