add product to chart only default attribute

Hi to all..

I have a T-shirt ecommerce... For each T-shirt I have a configuration for the attribute size.

The attribute size can assume these values: S (default value), M, L and XL.

 

When I go in a product page, choose the size (for example L) and add the t-shirt to my cart the result is that in my cart there is always the product that I choose but the size is always the Default.

So, If I choose the size L, in my cart there is size S.

 

What I can do?
