How to have only one authentication in website and in his shop

Hello everyone !

 

I am a new user of Prestashop, and I haven't found how to resolve my problem :

I have a PHP website which needs an authentication (dev by me) to manage user data, and I have a shop using Prestashop. The thing is that I would like to have the same authentication in both site and shop : if a user log in site, he's logged in shop and vice versa.

 

I haven't found a doc explaining how the authentication works.

 

If someone can explain me how to do that or where to found the info...
