PayPal module on 1.7?

Hello,

 

I'm planning to open my website powered by Prestashop 1.7 next week but now that I want to configure the payments, I see that there is no PayPal module available... Is that normal?

I think it's ridiculous to omit a paypal module with this release. I cannot understand why it was not included when other free open source solutions provide this as standard. This is a serious oversight. What are Prestashop going to do about it? If this is not going to be included as standard (Both th US and EU versions) then I will move to another platform, which is a shame because I was liking Prestashop.

Happy to announce that we (https://presta-theme-maker.com) decided not to wait for the official release of the PayPal module and created the first version.

 

Now we are finishing "Thank you" page and doing final testing.

Allow us some time to finish everything, and soon it will be available. Will keep you updated.

We completed to upgrade this module (works with 1.7.x) and we are waiting technical validation from PrestaShop.
