[How to] Use custom registration fields + update

Hi Guys,

 

I am wondering if there's an easy way to create the custom fields in a registration form.

The only solution I Googled was to change manually php files within Presta core files.

 

My question is: If I'd make that change, then, will any update in the future overwrite this custom changes in core Presta files?

 

Any help will be appreciated.

If you modify core files, they will be overwritten when you upgrade PrestaShop. If you override core files using the override directory, the changes will not be lost when upgrading, though the overrides may need to be updated.
