2008paul
I've never used this before so first time to install it. I've put all the files where they should be and I'm now on the webpage to install it. I'm on 2": System Compatibility" but it's saying "SYSTEM AND PERMISSIONSThe following settings are required. Please make sure the following checklist items are true.If you have any questions, please visit our Documentation Wiki and/or Community Forum.Optional set-up"It's not letting me go onto the next setup. What am I doing wrong?ThanksPaul

2008paul
It don't say any thing about what's wrong, other than '“SYSTEM AND PERMISSIONSThe following settings are required. uddhava
If you only see the lines that you quoted here then there is something strange going on.When i was installing Prestashop and encountered errors i phoned my provider. They helped me installing it.So i suggest you to delete the whole software tree. Download the new version 1.3.1.Upload it again by FTP and make sure all files are transferred.Create a new database. And start the install again. If it happens again at step 2, then somewhere the file checking does not work. Maybe some php/apache modules are enabled. But i have to find out which ones are necessary.
