Speacial customer login using username and password

Hi , I would like to know if it possible to have username and password for spacial clients or customers to logon and able to see the certain categories or products which will are only show once they logon.

Go to Customers > Groups and create a new customer group called something like "Special", then go to the Catalog tab, create a category for the special products, then untick "Default" from the "Groups access" section so that only the "Special" group is ticked. By doing this, the category will not be visible to customer who are not logged in or to customers who have just signed up. You will have to go to the Customers tab, edit a customer and tick the "Special" group before they have access to that category. Note that you must put the products in the special category only and not other non-special categories, otherwise they will be visible to all customers.
