F4rk4s
Hi everyone! We are about to upgrade our PS from 1.4.7 to 1.6.1.8 We have PHP 5.3 on the server and we want to upgrade it to PHP 7.0.x too. We would like to use PHP 7.0.x to serve PS 1.4.7 and PS 1.6.1.8 in the same time. (Becasue we upgrade the staging system first and the live one later.) My question is: do you have any experience how does PHP 7.0.x work with PS 1.4.7? Have you experienced any compatibility problems? Thank you in advance! bellini13
7.0 was only recently supported in PS v1.6, it is not going to work with v1.
Martin Uker K
I know that it isn't compatible. What to expect : a fatal error, nothing less. you will run from one fatal to another. The paiement might stop working, the registration to. You will have one hell of a time tracking every little thing that isn't compatible. It would be better if you had two environment, completly independant. Martin.
bellini13
Some control panels allow you to create a sub-domain virtual host, that could then use a different configuration from its parent domain.
