Second item goes into cart when only adding one

Hi guys,

i got a little problem with my prestashop recently, maybe you can help.


Whenever i delete ALL my cookies/etc in firefox and visit my shop the next time, the error occurs.

If i put one item into the cart, another randomly(!) choosen item will be added, too.

This happens on version 1.2.2, but i haven't seen anything in the changelogs that would change this in a newer version.

Also, i have the same shop (1.2.2, but with less products, old backup) running, where this problem does not occur.

The connectionlog of the server shows that i only added one item to the cart.


I hope you have an idea what this problem is about and how it could be solved.
