Reset password but still can't log in?

Hi!

I just installed prestashop, and am trying to log in for the first time, but my password wasn't working. I reset it, but it still won't work with the information that was emailed to me. Am I doing something wrong?

can you tell me, which version of PrestaShop you installed, and whether you installed it on your own server, on another company's server, or used the cloud PrestaShop option? That will help in sorting out your difficulties.

I am having the exact same problem and a lot of people online are also complaining about this.

 

I have just installed Prestashop 1.7.0.2, but I am not able to login. I don't get an error, just redirects to the login page again or something like that. Don't know what's wrong there, but it's a serious Prestashop problem.

Open the ps_configuration table in your database, and try to set the value of 'PS_COOKIE_LIFETIME_BO' to 480 and 'PS_COOKIE_CHECKIP' to 0.

 

It should help.

thanks for replying, Tim! I had 1.7 installed but I just archived it and installed 1.6 again. Now I'm trying to figure out how to get all my products out of the archive and into my current database.
